This screen allows the MIMS
user to associate a party as an income source to an existing party.

user must have applicable security authorization to access this screen.

This
system re-displays the ‘Relate Income Source’ screen listing the new party in
the Income Sources list sorted by create date in descending order.
·
Parties
that can be related as an income source include:
Organization
and individual parties classified as an Income Source with no expiry date.
Active
Organization Party
·
An
income source may only be active on a party as an income source once. There may be multiple inactive records
but only one may be active at a time.

Select
Party Tab.
2.
Enter
MEP File Number in the ‘File Number’ field

Click
the search button.
4.
If
MEP File Number is unknown, enter information in one or more of the other
fields (such as ‘Last Name’) and click the search button. Click on the hyperlink ‘File Number’,
this will take you to the File Tab. Click on the Party Tab and the MEP File
Number will automatically be placed in the ‘File Number’ field. Click search.
5.
Click
on the hyperlink “Party Number”.
6.
Select
‘Income Sources’ tab located in the middle of the screen.
7.
The
system displays the Relate Income Source Screen, showing all related income
sources.
8.
MIMS
user enters the party number of the new income source in ‘Party Number’ field.
9.
Click
‘Relate Party’ button.
10.
The
New Income Source is displayed in the Related Income Source list.
11.
Click
‘Save’ button to save the data entered.
12.
MIMS
User clicks on ‘Wage’ or ‘Non-Wage’ box as applicable to check or uncheck.
13.
Click
‘Save’ button.
14.
Once
Income Source is confirmed, the MIMS User clicks on the ‘Confirmed’ box and
clicks on ‘Save’ button. The date
of confirmation is now displayed in the Related Income Source list.
15.
To
inactivate or delete an Income Source look under the area of ‘Related Income
Source’, click on the box under the Inactivate or Delete column (making sure
that you have selected the right party name).
16.
Click
the ‘Save’ button to update the changes.

date in YYYY-MM-DD format where Y = Year, M = Month and D = Day. |

Delete |
If
checked & saved, this will delete the income source relationship to this
record. Delete
checkbox not available for “Confirmed” or “Inactive” income sources. They cannot be deleted. Delete
checkbox not available if an income source has ever had a garnishee issued
against it. |

Click
‘Save’ button to save the newly entered data on the ‘Relate Income Source’
screen. |
